Curriculum

The curriculum is designed to fit students for leaders of tomorrow. As an American school in the heart of Sharjah, our focus is developing students for their long-term career. Technology has shaped the way classrooms are designed, therefore the application of concepts into the real world is the foundation of child development. The school uses the Common Core system, established as part of the American system, but TAPS includes curriculum adaptation to support our rich Emirati culture. The Common Core applies to the subjects of English, math, and science subjects. However, the school uses the NGSS when it comes to scientific theory and applications. The school incorporates STEM related activities throughout all phases of education. The school also integrates Arabic, Social Studies, Moral Education, Islamic Studies as part of the adaptation and uses the Ministry standards of the UAE to ensure students achieve excellence.
